Sharp Photoplay Edition, bound in red cloth with titles in gilt and outlined in black on front board and in black on the spine. 4 photo stills from the 1920 film starring Douglas Fairbanks. Originally published as "The Curse of Capistrano" in All-Story Weekly. The film was released and then finally the novelization with G&D publishing both the First Edition and this Photoplay Edition published at about the same time. Tight and clean throughout save a neat ownership signature on front paste-down. Little or no page toning and minor wear to spine ends and tips. A few spots of light toning to the bottom of the front board. Jacket has only front panel and flap still present with a partial split on the fold. Still colorful and presentable with what is left. A very handsome collectable copy and uncommon in any condition.
