Marklin boat motor with long winding shaft. The same as that found in a number of Marklin boats and battleships from early 1900s to 1930s.   This motor was also used to power larger boats by using a greater length spring. (The one shown dates from 1910 - 1919
 Motor is thick with original dirty grease which has kept it in good working condition for about 120 years.  With original key. 18cms between top plate of motor and shoulder of key. The base plate is 6cm wide at its widest. Motor is about an inch between bottom and top plate.
