Up for sale is an incredible piece of American Naval history.

This sweater was found in a thrift store 30 miles outside of Annapolis, MD. Sadly enough, the navy N and star have been removed at some point but the imprint of where the lettering was is still faintly visible on the front as seen in photos.

Item was throughly researched, found very similar examples in the old US Naval Academy yearbooks throughout the mid to late 1920s up to the very early 40s.

From what I also learned, the star part of the logo was only assigned to any Navy team that beat Army in a star designated competition.

Sweater has an incredible military type tag sewn into the inner back with a stencil numbered “77”.

No size tag or tag at all besides the stenciled tag, measurements are provided in final photos and fits closest to a Men’s M/L imo. Please refer to measurements before purchasing.
