This VHS tape features the HBO broadcast of Madonna's Drowned World Tour, which first aired on August 26, 2001. It was sent to Emmy Academy members for awards consideration in 2002, as part of a box set also containing Janet Jackson's Live in Hawai (aired February 2002). Madonna's show ended up nominated for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding costumes for a variety or music program and did not win any Emmy award.
