White Star Line: A 4" by 6" (7.25" with tab handles) silverplated oval dish by Elkington with a date code of 1922.
The double-handle dish features the famous reed and star border used by White Star and has the houseflag etched onto one side along with "E.M." for "Engineers' Mess"
Underneath it is marked with White Star Line and Elkington Plate, along with an "K" in a quatrefoil for 1922. The dish was probably manufactured and used aboard White Star's MAJESTIC and HOMERIC.
Good condition several dents and dings from onboard use.
