Nice vintage fabric Scottie dog Childs toy in great original "played with" condition.
This cute rather large sized Scottie dog has the original black fur type fabric and a pair of
glass eyes. The inside of the ears have a brown fabric. It feels like it is stuffed with straw and
may have had a noise maker on the inside?
The mouth and nose have the original red stitching. I'm not sure if the tartan bow is original but
it certainly shows well.
This great vintage dog toy is fresh from a local Lancaster County, Pennsylvania estate auction.
You will not be disappointed with this wonderful piece of vintage Americana.
The Scottie dog toy is about 15" long and stands 12" high.
This was probably made in the 1940's.
