Born of a ball of fire and the breath of a man, Saint-Louis Cristal vibrates with all the talent inherited from history and extraordinary creative fantasy inspired by current trends. It is in the heart of the continuous casting furnace that the melting of the crystal takes place at 1450 C degrees in the form of malleable incandescent lava free of all its impurities before being deposited in the sampling zones. It is in these collecting bays, maintained at a constant temperature of 1200 C, that the glassmakers "pick up" at the end of their cane the crystal quantity necessary for the production of a unique piece. Mouth blown and hand-cut since 1586 in Saint-Louis-les-Bitche in Moselle, France, every Saint-Louis Cristal vase is polished by hand.
