A mix of secret creams and polishes brings out the highs and lows in the leather, creating a multidimensional effect. For a finishing touch, we stamp founder John A. Frye's signature into the leather sole.

These shoes have seen a fair amount of wear and taken on a rich patina. The uppers are notably well preserved, soft, and supple. Similarly, the leather linings and insoles on these shoes are in exceptional condition. All that said, these shoes could benefit from a resole, as the leather soles have a few softer spots, and thr rubber toplifts on the heels are worn down. While they could benefit from this resole in the near future, it's not immediately necessary, and the shoes can be worn as is - they are perfectly serviceable.

I cleaned and conditioned these shoes, inside and out, with Weimans Leather Wipes, deep cleaned and conditioned with Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner, polished the sole-edge/sidewall with Saphir Beaute du Cuir Shoe Cream, and polished them with Saphir Beaute du Cuir Shoe Cream. They come from a pet and smoke-free home. Shoe trees are not included.
