The Tektronix 067-0616-00 Flexible Plug-In Extension is used for operating 7000-series plug-ins outside the mainframe for repair, maintenance and calibration.
It is based on a ribbon cable. The attached plug-in sits on the bench in front of the mainframe. S/N: B020446
Note: The 4 pins on the plastic end pieces are for guidance between the connectors. No pin is used for the Ridged extender. The pins (if used) are not for electrical connection. They are for mechanical alignment. The pin (s) can be placed in any one of the potential guide holes, or in all holes. I have some in both configurations. The Flex extender uses one pin. The Ridged, none. I am selling both types of extenders.
