Seven volume set. Bound by Riviere in half blue-green calf over light blue cloth, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. All volumes dated 1920 except for volume IV, which is dated 1916. Each volume with a frontispiece and additional black and white plates and illustrations. Books measure approximately 7.5" x 5.5".


Rubbing to head, tail, edges, and corners, with some scuffing to the leather at the spine ends. Minor bumps to corners, with the leather rubbed through in places. Spines slightly cocked, faded, with some scuffs and scrapes. The Jane Eyre volume has a couple small stains to the rear board. The Shirley volume has a scrape to the leather at the lower rear backstrip. The Life of Charlotte Bronte volume has some scratches and scrapes to the rear board, and the boards are slightly warped. Some offsetting from plates to tissue guards but interiors generally appear clean.
