by Misti Dawn Jones, Esther Blazer Pilgrim

Esther Blazer Pilgrim was a scam victim in 2007 of Tim Blair aka Tim Dog, an early 90's Hip Hop artist. The local police refused to take a police report which forced Esther into investigating her own case. Within days of the assistant DA finally accepting Esther's case in August of 2009, the DA's office received a call from a lawyer in New York reporting they had seen Esther's complaints against Tim Dog online. Their law firm was investigating a case against Tim Blair regarding a financial scam that involved the fictitious booking of an artist. On August 3, 2011, Tim Blair aka Tim Dog appeared in court, accompanied by his wife and daughter. He was convicted via plea bargain and received a reduced charge of felony grand larceny. He was given "time served" and five years of unsupervised probation with only partial restitution requiring a minimum payment of $100 per month. On February 14th, 2013, it was leaked to the press that Tim Blair aka Tim Dog had died of complications related to diabetes. Details were unusually sketchy and inconsistent. Months later there would be no retrievable evidence or documentation available as reporters and law enforcement attempted to verify his death via a death certificate. The family allegedly recanted their statements that Tim Dog was dead. A warrant was issued and Tim Blair aka Tim Dog and lastly aka Tim Williams was now a fugitive. In 2014, Esther and others worked together and to their surprise were able to verify Tim Blair was in fact dead under what they believe were suspicious circumstances. After Esther uncovered documentation of Tim Blair's death and cremation, Tim Blair's wife/widow filed charges against Esther Pilgrim.
