At just seventeen years of age, she was executed after a guilty verdict at Presteigne Great Assizes. Convicted on the word of three women, there would be no mercy for this former servant as their testimonies sealed her fate. I knew nothing about this girl until a family secret and a chance encounter set me off in search of the truth.
