Smart vintage black Lancome, Paris, shoulder bag in faux snakeskin - possibly polyurethane - which is soft and supple. It is labelled Lancome on the inside, on the zip pocket and is approx 35 years old.
It has a tapering shape with lots of expansion room at the sides. The long handle is attached by 3 large gilt rings on either side, which make an expensive clunky sound! with an additional flap closing with a gilt metal stud.
The interior has a fabric lining with a zippered pocket.
Condition is very good and the interior is perfect as it has never been used. When I spun round the gilt rings, there was slight corrosion on the bit that was in the tab which connects them to the bag on one side.
Approx 30 cm high, 30 cm at base tapering to 23 cm at top.
The sides expand to approx 15 cm
The handle is approx 144 cm and can be used doubled up or as a long cross-body strap.
