You are buying a genuine vintage replacement ribbon for the Marx Key Action Typewriter. I'm sure the ink has dried, but maybe this can still be used. It's still sealed in plastic along with the instructions, 2 felt pads and 2 rubber caps. The box has some wear as shown.
