The pioneer of Asian fusion sound has reissued his only work from 1982 in DX format with many bonus sound sources!

Monsoon is a project by singer Sheila Chandra, producer Steve Coe, and bassist Martin Smith.

He was one of the first to incorporate traditional Indian music into British pop music in the 1980s.

The band was started when keyboardist and producer Steve Coe became interested in Indian music. Steve Coe recorded a demo tape that Sheila Chandra, an Indian actress and actress, recorded at Hansa Records when she was 14 years old. I discovered this and ended up joining as a singer.

He released his first EP on Rough Trade in 1981, and later released this work on Mobile Suit, a subsidiary of Phonogram.

At a time when the term "world music" did not yet exist, their Asian fusion sound was very pioneering.

This work additionally includes the EP ``EVER SO LONELY'', various MIX differences, and session sound sources recorded for radio as a bonus.

An interesting piece that can be said to be the forerunner of British Asian music such as Bhangra Beat, Corner Shop, and Asian Dub Foundation, which would later become a major trend in the UK.
