The World's Columbian Exposition, also known as the Chicago World's Fair, celebrated the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the New World. It famously introduced fairgoers to electricity, elevators, products we now take for granted like the zipper, Cream of Wheat, and Cracker Jacks, Edison’s kinetoscope and the first voice recordings, the term “midway,” and George G.W. Ferris’s new Wheel. I have a number of books and souvenirs I acquired from a collector, check out my other listings!
