Here is a REMOTE CONTROL RC-450C for Tascam CD-450 Compact Disc Player.
Please note, there is an area of wear on the cord where the outer insulation is missing. Looks like it should still work fine, maybe wrap with electrical tape. I don't have the cd player to test this on. There is a battery chamber, but this was glued shut, I believe by Tascam, probably so they could use the same remote body and make it either wired or wireless. When I opened the battery area, there are no contacts or springs for a battery. Some scuffs and marks. Pulled from a professional video company's Protools suite.
