True vintage mid 1930's black quilted insulated cape.

Features asymmetrical pocket, rare Lion brand zipper and button closure.

I dated this piece using the zipper which has the same shape pull and slide as 1930s-50's Talon and to pinpoint inside that range the small style clip to attach the slide body to the pull dates to mid 30's zippers only as shown in the last picture. It is possible to be home made in a later decade but used a 30s zipper.

Good vintage condition.

No holes or major loose stitching.

Has some faint small stains and minor loose stitching in interior.

Size is unmarked.

Measures 27 inches top to bottom and 53.5 inches across.
