There are no cracks or missing parts, the hinges are in good working order and the keys/touchpad/buttons are all functioning correctly, as are all the ports. It has been thoroughly cleaned internally to remove dust and the thermal paste has been replaced as necessary.

Lid and base: Superficial cosmetic storage marks.

Screen and bezel: Good, bright image. No marks on the bezel.

Keyboard: Key caps are clearly visible with no significant wear.

Touchpad and buttons: Fully functional with no significant wear.

Wristrest: Very clean, no significant wear.

A:      We are Acorn Community Recycling Ltd, a fundraising arm of Acorn Community Care Ltd, a registered charity which supports people with autism and learning disabilities. We are based in Norton, North Yorkshire. All profits on sales go towards funding the great work we do here.

Q:      Do you offer a warranty?

A:      We have a 30-day return policy. Our laptops have been in use in a working environment but have been well maintained. We thoroughly check for physical damage, faulty components and software problems. Minor physical damage or wear which does not affect full functionality is clearly described and shown in the photos.

Q:      I need MS Office. Can you provide this?

A:      MS Office 365 is now a subscription service, so we cannot preinstall this.

Q:      Does the laptop have a password?

A:      An information sheet will be sent with your laptop, which includes details of the temporary user name and password. You are advised to set up your own login.
