All of our reproduction parts are created from a duplicating process (NOT 3D!) using original toy parts. Parts such as this one, which feature electric, lighted components, are thoroughly researched and materials are used that most closely create the function of original parts. Correct diameter brass tubing is used on the base of the antenna for seamless, constant electrical contact just as the original part.
