1940's homemade girl's or young woman's fancy satin vest with a painstakingly stitched petal shaped peplum waist. Beautiful floral pattern on burgundy background, muslin lined, machine made with hand stitching on lining. 6 tiny buttons that have the remnants of tiny painted flowers on them.

This item was hand made in Austria.

Good vintage condition. Sturdy and wearable. Three small holes in the satin on left chest, like a pin or badge had been worn in the spot. Pattern is somewhat sun faded on the front.

Flat measurements: 15 in across chest on front; 17 in. from shoulders to waist; 12 in. across waist.
