.....These 6 books by Alexander Maclaren are not new, but they were in a preachers library as study material. Here is the problem with each book written below. If you have the know how all these books can be restored back to excellent condition.

.....The cover of all 6 books is worn, especially around the corners. All books have pages that are yellowing, thanks to age. They all have a very slight musky smell. There is quite a bit of scrapes on the covers of every book. Someone put their name in most books, too.

.....The book about Isaiah and Jeremiah is the only book with great binding and no writing that I saw in it. It does have a stamp on the inside cover, though.

.....The book about the First Epistle all the way to the index has good binding, but someone marked in quite a few pages studying.

.....The books about Psalms, and the other one about Ezekiel to St. Matthew has bindings that are slightly coming apart. Besides someone's name, I haven't seen any other markings myself.

.... The two books about St. Matthew chapters IX - XXVIII, and St. John I - XIV has major binding problems. It is fixable if you have the know-how. The books have been used for studying, so there are a lot of markings in them too.
