Features:
  • All-purpose mixture that works with any kind of soil
  •  Perfect for when you want a lawn that grows quickly
  •  When frost is predicted, avoid planting.
Preparation:
  1. For best results sow March to early October. Water well during dry weather.
  2. Germination requires a soil temperature of 6-8°C. This is usually when the air temperature is above 10°C. Sow only when risk of frost has passed.
  3. Before sowing remove any weeds, stones & leaves. Break up any clods / lumps.
  4. An optional extra is to apply a pre-seeding fertiliser 2-3 days before sowing. For New Lawns
For New Lawns:
  •  Seed germinates best in a soft, warm & moist soil. Divide your ground into easily manageable sections.
  •  Rake the soil to a depth of 8-10cm until it resembles a fine breadcrumb in texture.
  •  Evenly shake the seed mixture over your area. Sowing rate: 1kg per 30m2 / roughly 30g per m2
  •  Ensure seeds make contact with the soil and are evenly spread. Rake lightly if needed.
  •  Water well with a light spray. It is important to keep the soil moist until new lawn is well rooted. Do not use a powerful hose setting as this may wash seeds away.
  •  Keep off area for 6 weeks after sowing. Protect seed from birds using a cover.
  •  After grass reaches approx. 8cm in height mow for the first time.
Restoring or Overseeding Lawns:
  • Mow the grass using the shortest setting
  • Rake/scarify the lawn to remove dead and dry grass. Remove moss patches.
  • Evenly shake the seed mixture over your area.
        Sowing rate: 1kg per 60m2/ roughly 15g per m2
