Zoodochos Pigi is a lowland village of northern Evia in the Evia Regional Unit. It is located towards the borders with central Evia and is built on a hillside southwest of Kerinthos at an altitude of 63 meters with a view to the south of the small valley and plain of the river Nile. It is 21 km E.-NE. from Limni (seat of the municipality), 6 km W. from Mantoudi and 60 km N.-NE. from Chalkida
References to the village exist from the Byzantine era and during the Turkish occupation it was called Tsouka, which is of Vlach origin and means mountain top. There was a farm even after the integration of Evia into the then Greek state, which was finally sold to the residents, while during the period of occupation it was completely destroyed and burned by the Germans.
It was officially mentioned as a settlement, after the Revolution of 1821 and the integration of Evia, in 1835 with its old name Tsouka being annexed to the then municipality of Kirreos (Kireos). In 1958, with Official Gazette 84A - 02/06/1958, it was renamed Zoodochos Pigi. According to the Kallikratis program, together with Kirinthos and Krya Vrysi, they form the local community of Kirinthos, which falls under the municipal unit of Kirios of the Municipality of Mantoudi - Limni - Agia Anna and according to the 2011 census, it has a population of 82 inhabitants, while as a settlement it has 199.
