Squirt Gun Water Pistols
With Dime Store Display Box
You get them the way the dime store would get
them. This box full of squirt guns contains 72 Red, Blue, Green and Yellow plastic
squirt guns. Each is 2 ½ inches long and comes with a filling cap plug. They
squirt 3 to 5 feet. They are patterned after a small pistol. It has a trigger
actuated water pump that squirts a stream of water out the end of the barrel
every time you pull the trigger. They have great details including trigger,
handle grips. The filling plug has a captive feature that doesn’t let you lose
the plug. Typical 1960’s Hong Kong import. You get the whole box full!
The store display box has a fold out top back marquis with attractive graphics of a boy and girl having a water pistol target shoot-out. The front of the box says, Mini Squirt Guns ~ Water Pistol. The box is made of flimsy cardboard and is in generally good condition with a few insignificant nips & bruises expected of display merchandise boxes, "full" of merchandise. Hasn't seen daylight for over a Half Century, Sitting on a warehouse shelf in a cardboard Box of a dozen sets.
Most collectors of “Point of Sale”
merchandising prefer the original Patina of age untouched, and would prefer to repair it themselves,
if they want the flaps glued at all. The photos are representative of the box
you will receive. It displays well. Prominent Shelf Display. The squirt guns
are in Perfect Condition. You get the Display Box and the ½ gross
(72) guns. Ma & Pa stores used to have a different box of toys like these
in a counter top display box. A jobber would come by and sell them 5 Cent toys like
these by the display box every few weeks so they would go through a variety. Check the other 250 items in our eBay store.
