This vintage fishing lure by Fred Arbogast, dating back to 1941, is a true gem for any fishing enthusiast. The Jitterbug design is known for its unique topwater action that attracts a variety of freshwater fish species. Its originality is guaranteed, as it still comes in its original box with paper that has been preserved over time.

This is a 1941 in-line screw bug… it was the first year for plastic jitterbugs, 2nd style hardware… they usually come in boxes with either $1.00 or $1.10 on them… 90% of them came in a cardboard bottom box with a clear plastic lid with no stencil on the lid at all… known for having no stencil on the back of the lure and of course in line screws in the lip… it was the only year that the screws came that way

The Red Color around the eye was only used this year of production! It is also a Wood Body on this lure!

All used in 1941 before World War 2 started.

This vintage lure is perfect for collectors or those who seek a timeless addition to their fishing gear. Its quality and authenticity are unrivaled, and it is a true testament to the craftsmanship of Fred Arbogast. Don't miss out on this rare find that will surely catch the eye of any fishing aficionado.
