THE SIEGEL-SCHWALL BAND was an electric blues band formed in 1964 by CORKY SIEGEL & JIM SCHWALL.  THEY were the house band @ Pepper's Lounge on Chicago's South Side.  Every great "blues-man" stopped in to play with SIEGEL-SCHWALL including Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, Bo Diddley, Junior Wells, just to name a few.  The BAND moved to Big John's in
Old Town after the Butterfield Blues Band started touring.  The BAND broke up in 1974, but got back together in 1987- 2016.

I recorded the CONCERT using a Marantz 2270 receiver, a high-gain FM antenna w/rotor, a Sony 850 1/4 track recorder and BASF Premium 2400' tape.   Also included is an all plastic case designed and offered by BASF.  The case is 7 7/8" high x 7 1/2" deep x 1"wide.   Shipped USPS Media Mail.
