This skillet cover is in awesome shape! It sits flat on my granite countertop. Other than that, the pictures speak for themselves.

This cast iron piece was given a lye bath and then lightly coated with vegetable oil to prevent rust. It has NOT been properly seasoned because my idea of proper seasoning may be different than yours.
