Rare to find Sevres porcelain sugar bowl for the Hunt pattern dinner service.  Sevres made the original service for the King's palace Chateau de Fontainebleau which was the royal hunting lodge.  Popularity of this service allowed Sevres to sell additional services to other wealthy customers.  Sevres marks on bottom dating to the 1840s including different impressed potters and date marks. Scratch over the green mark.  Measures 5 inches tall and over 5 inches wide to end of each handle.  Excellent condition with no chips cracks repairs and minimal age wear. Underneath bottom dark carbon spot from the original kiln firing production and some tiny speckle spots on lid.  See my other listings for more estate pieces.
