This book is loosely based on a true story something that happened to me as an adult when I went to put on my shoe trying to get to work one day. This story is a rhyming story about a little girl who went to put on her pretty sneaker but sees something peeking out of her shoe. When she investigates more closely, she finds that there is a spider who she eventually names Clyde living in her shoe and he absolutely refuses to leave because he has made her shoe her home. She hopes when she wakes up in the morning, he is gone. She sticks a stick in her shoe hoping he would take a ride but he says No! Finally, she gives up! Read this delightful funny story to see what happens. This book is for preschool as well but written for K-2.

Author Biography

JoAnn Dotson is a retired elementary educator with 32 years of service. She has a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education from Morris Brown College and has a Master's Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Troy State University and attended NorthCentral University Doctoral Program. She is married to Benjamin Dotson and she resides in her hometown of Sandersville, Georgia. She received numerous awards during her teaching career, most notable were Ridge Road Primary Teacher of the Year, Channel 13 WMAZ-My Teacher is Tops, Washington County Branch of the NAACP Teacher of the Year Award as well as the Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Teacher Award.
