This genuine Hobart #12 meat grinder / food chopper attachment is the wider 2 1/2" food port diameter or straight throat model grinder.  This is the largest food port opening available on a #12 Hobart grinder.  The standard food port is only 2" in size.  Larger size = fast processing / production of food product.
