This Arts & Crafts Bookcase was made by the Larkin Co., in Buffalo, New York in the early 20th Century, and even has the original manufacturer label on the back. It features solid oak craftsmanship and adjustable shelves. The double glass doors are accompanied by green stained glass panels, all of which are held together in a leaded frame. It comes with a key (I don't know if it's original), and the doors stay closed. It was professionally refinished not long before I bought it around 30 years ago.

Dimensions:
• 42" wide x 57" tall x 14" deep
• Shelf dimensions are 35-1/2" wide, 10-1/2" deep

Condition:
This bookcase is in excellent condition, but obviously isn't brand new so will display the wear and patina you'd expect from a piece its age.

Shipping:
You will need to arrange for freight, as well as pay for it. I've received and shipped many large pieces of antique furniture via blanket wrap shipping companies, which typically travel a somewhat set route, and if you tell them the location of the item, they'll let you know when they can pick it up, and when it would be delivered. Sometimes this can take some time, so patience is required. They'll also give you a cost, based on the dimensions shown above. I don't know how to estimate the weight - they'll probably have a good idea - but it'll probably be between 80 and 100 pounds. You should arrange insurance with the shipper, and confirm what they will cover. Once the shipper views the item and confirms the condition, they are responsible for any damage from then on. However, as I mentioned earlier, I've shipped/received many items, including curved glass china cabinets, double-width china cabinets, multiple barrister, bookcases, etc., and have never had anything damaged.

Local Pickup:
If you have the ability to pick the bookcase up yourself, you're welcome to do that.

Value:
I've looked at similar listings on eBay and this seems to be very fairly priced. While I may ultimately accept a 'best offer', please don't expect me to do so early in the auction, since it only makes sense to give it enough time for more people to see them. Thank you for looking.

Other:
If you look at cabinets like this from time to time and have a good memory, you might recall seeing this exact cabinet on eBay around a year ago. We ended up getting an offer from a local buyer (via a different app), and after weeks of delays, we gave up and decided to just keep it! So we've enjoyed it another year, but are moving in the next few months, so are offering it for sale again.

Thank you for your interest, and please let me know if you have any questions.
