Vintage Vernon Kilns Texas Souvenir Plate Red Transferware "Lone Star State" USA

This is a beautiful souvenir plate from Texas circa 1940s. Vernon Kilns went out of business in 1953. This plate details some famous Texas landmarks including the Alamo, Will Rogers memorial and the state capital. The more I look at this plate the more I love it.

This 10.5" plate is in beautiful vintage condition. A few rough firing pin marks on back.  On the front I can only find one location where the glaze has rubbed off on the edge.  About an inch right of the longhorn, I can barely see it but I can feel it with my fingernail.
