What we have here is a vintage 925 brooch set with marcasite and garnets. Moreover, while dating back to the 1960's this is a distinctive brooch which has the wide eyed bats perched on a branch with red garnet set eyes. On the back theres a push in pin and pull around locking mechanism and it's hallmarked 925. In addition, this brooch offers a unique look which would add style and sophistication to anyone with a passion for vintage beauty. 

As for the cosmetic condition this brooch has been used and is in excellent condition with minor use and age related signs of handling discolouration although it's without missing or loose stones and as such I'd rate it as 9.5/10.
