This one-of-a-kind, gorgeous hand-painted Peachblow Cased Glass Fairy Lamp was possibly produced by Fenton for L.G. Wright, but is more likely from Webb or Mt Washington based on its fine enamel work (date unknown). The enamel painted florals are on both the ruffled base and the dome.  Also, each ruffle is highlighted with a raised dot of white enamel. It can be displayed either skirts down (photo #1) or skirts up (photo #6).

Peachblow cased glass is made by sandwiching 2 layers of glass, with the colored glass on the outside and the (usually) white or milk glass on the underside. When lit, the white underside brightens and enhances the colors and patterns in the outer layer.  Peachblow resembles Burmese glass, except that Burmese glass is almost never cased.

Condition: Excellent, with some minor fleabites on the white part of the base where the candle cup sits when the skirt is up (See photo #11). Very minimal and not visible unless disassembled. There are NO CRACKS, CHIPS, HAIRLINES OR SCRATCHES on any of the three pieces. Approx Dimensions: (assembled) 5 1/2" high x 6 3/4" across
