For sale or auction is this Vintage 1954 Adco-Liberty Mfg. Lone Ranger Metal Lunchbox with Rare Blue Band. C7, R9. Despite the dime-sized area of paint loss above the O and N in the word Lone and small micro scratches on the front panel, the box still displays well. The back panel has several small scratches and there is a tiny area of paint loss and on the left fetlock of Tonto’s horse. There are areas of oxidation on the side panels (see pics). There is also oxidation on the handle, locking mechanism, and coin. Inside of lunchbox has considerably more oxidation and wear. Despite the paint loss on the borders, there are no dents or dings. Lunchbox has been deeply discounted due to these defects. Blue banded Adco Lone Ranger lunchboxes are extremely hard to find now.
