A stunning hand fan that is in need of gentle cleaning and some restoration.

The main guard stick has been broken and at some point has been repaired and then broken again.

The bone or ivory sticks are very dirty. Some of the gilding on the paper at the edges has been lost.

However the colours on the painting which show a family scene are in good condition.

There is a mirror which is unusual although this is foxed.

Length of guard stick is about 22 cms
