These contacts are for a Lucas 45D distributor fitted to a lot of British cars from 1974 onward , this distributor replaced the 25D , from the mid 60’s.
It was subsequently replaced by the 59D from 1978 onward when the 59D replaced the Lucas 45D distributor. This was made as running changes on BL cars , so you need check carefully which type your classic has.
A simple difference is the 45D contact set has a larger footprint with a hole at the base of the pivot for a locating pin on the distributor base plate to pass through. The 59D contacts have a pin pointing out the bottom of the pivot point , which fits with a locating hole on the distributor base plate.
