First edition. Bookplate of Sydney Williams on front pastedown. Ownership inscription in ink on front free endpaper from 1871. Front and rear boards are detached yet present. Lacking the spine. A few of the pages near the end have separated, yet are present. Two page preface by the author. The first portion is a catalogue of single plays in the collection of Halliwell (46 pages) and the second portion is books on sale through the bookseller John Russell Smith. A very scarce catalogue which has been reprinted at least once (Anton W. Van Bekhoven, Publisher, 1968).
