When was the last time these came around?  They aren't necessarily discontinued-rare, but certainly not that common.

Courtois has a history making brass instruments dating to 1789, but these flugelhorn mouthpieces are much newer, ca. 2000s.
These are Lausmann-made in Nauheim, Germany, as are modern Buffet brass mouthpieces - they are designed for and sold with the current series of Courtois flugelhorns.  This is the 1½C version, and 1¼C, 3C, and 7C versions are available as well (replacing an earlier series which included a model 4-something).

The cup is extremely deep, on par with French horn mouthpieces, with a massive throat and wide backbore.  The shank is a very short, insertion-portion-only Small Morse taper.  That said, the B preceding the model number doesn't mean "Bach" but rather "bugle" (bugle à pistons).
The only receiver this fit into was the Swiss Willson-made Conn 24A.  The mouthpiece couldn't even work in anything else, and it would need the correct adapter to work in any other horn.
Caveat emptor and only purchase if you have a definitively Small Morse receiver!

The Conn 24A isn't extremely dark in sound, but these Courtois pieces made it exceptionally so!

This one is in very nice condition, with a few light nicks and microscratches, made especially evident in photographs.  There are probably more water spots than anything else.  It's ready to play...given the correct receiver!
