Signed by Dr. Herman J. Sonnenberg on the front pastedown and the title page. Dr. Herman J. Sonneberg was the bank manager of Public School No. 14 in Manhattan (225 E. 27st). Dr. Sonnenberg also taught an English class to Middle Schoolers and was a contributor to various banking and educational periodicals of the time.

Notes: (Good Condition)

This hardcover book was published in 1906 by the George Routledge & Sons with 258 pages (The body of the text has Hebrew on one side and the English translation on the other (both have the same page number). The text is unmarked. The binding is weakened as the hinges are cracking. The page edges are toned with moderate to heavy foxing and a few very small dampstains. The corners are bumped and the tips are rubbed through. The covers are moderately worn along the edges with some scuffing.
