Used Pinnacle breakout box. Designed to work on Windows or Linux based OS. Plugs into a USB port. Uses a power adaptor (included). It's supposed to allow greater connectivity between input and output devices. I bought it as a Digital video bridge but it wasn't able to talk with Mac OS. All I got to see was it power up. So unknown for function beyond that.
