Beautiful classic pair of embroidered cream linen and wool crewel style vintage curtains.

These curtains will cover a maximum window width of 2.5 metres in width. The headings are old and have now curtain has no strings in the heading to tighten so the width is fixed and can’t be adjusted or pulled in tighter to create a ruffle effect.

Crewel style embroidered repeating pattern. The crewel technique is a type of surface embroidery using wool. A wide variety of different embroidery stitches are used to follow a design outline applied to the fabric. The technique is at least a thousand years old.

These curtains are so pretty and understated. Would really suit an english or french country interior.

They are textured and give depth in both fabric and finish. Perfect for maybe a small dressing room curtain perhaps.

Overall offered in lovely clean vintage aged condition. The edges are faded and worn from sun exposure and age etc and there are some dark marks in places. Please see all

They are beautiful vintage ivory creamy linen with delicate little hand sewn embroidered wool

repeat pattern all over the main body of the curtains. The inside linings are faded and aged. Very versatile in colour palette and understated in styling.

In vintage condition. Marked in places and discoloured from age and wear etc. There are general signs of fade and age on the inside and bottom linings too. Discolouring to the fabric in places. These are not perfect and have been priced accordingly.

They have a fixed small pencil pleated heading with the hooks placed in to the back of each heading. This heading cannot be made smaller and

not wider because the strings are missing from

One of the curtains and therefore can’t be pulled in and adjusted. Will need new strings in one curtain to adjust.

This style of heading is preferred for a more pared back and informal casual finish.

This heading is suitable for both pole and track systems and the little curtain hooks are already in place so they're ready to hang immediately.

Condition:

These curtains are in VINTAGE USED CONDITION. There are marks dotted around in places.
