Gorgeous pencil drawing from 17th-18th century in my opinion

Frame outer 26.5 x 22 cm Small yet perfectly gorgeous

A well dressed woman with plaited hair in a hoop bun sewing or repairing a hooped skirt hem

With her crossed legs showing through a see through petticoat

Simply stunning

I saw it I grabbed it and bought it for my shop without a second thought

I was certain then as I am now that somebody else would feel the urge and the imperitive

It was not cheap so silly offers declined

Sepia staining due to age several marks to right of picture much less prominent in real life, ie accentuated by the photograph and noticeable yet not so defined  or dark
