Wedgewood COUNTRYWAER teapot. The same design is offered by Coalport and so it matches their Countrywear pattern too. It seems that Countrywear was made by  Coalport up until 1967, then when Wedgewood bought Coalport, they continued making this design because of its popularity. They made no alterations to the pattern.

The teapot offered is in mint condition. It been out on display for a few years but has never been used to serve tea from, so there are no stains, chips or cracks. It holds just over 1½ pints and so serves between 3 and 4 mugs of tea.

Wedgewood themselves describe it as their medium teapot.

You will also notice from the photographs that the china has a translucently about it, so a bit of light around it makes the leaves really stand out. A beautiful design- I can see why it is so popular!

It is very difficult to measure but it appears to be approximately 19cm high. It will be sent in more bubble wrap that you can imagine and tracked.
