The Outer thin blue protective sleeve has scratches but the inner
cardboard and Velvet case are in excellent condition except for one corner where the blue is slightly worn off the cardboard case. I bought these
from the mint when they were offered. What you see is what you get. I ship fast.
These commemorative United States Liberty Coins (2) minted by the
U.S. Mint, San Francisco in 1986 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Statue
of Liberty and Ellis Island. One coin has a denomination of one dollar
and the other coin has a denomination of 50 cents. One dollar coin is
1.500 inches in diameter and made of silver and copper. Half dollar coin
is 1.205 inches in diameter and made of copper and nickel. Both coins
are uncirculated and come in the original presentation case and sleeve.
The
obverse of the coin features a depiction of the Statue of Liberty,
while the reverse shows a view of Ellis Island with the American flag
waving in the background. The coin is a beautiful addition to any
collection and a great way to commemorate the history and significance
of these iconic landmarks.
