DescriptionUp for sale is a Vintage “Galaxy Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is the rare April 1956 issue, Volume 11 Number 6. This issue features Swenson, Dispatcher by R. DeWitt Miller, Protection by Robert Sheckley, Point of Departure by Vaughan Shelton, Garrity’s Annuities by David Mason, Time to Kill by E. C. Tubb, and Slave Ship (Part 2 of 3) by Frederik Pohl. These are the original first printings of these classic science fiction stories in any publication. This 144-page pulp magazine was published by the Galaxy Publishing Corporation and measures about 7½” x 5½”. The magazine features a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Ed Emshwiller and illustrations by Dick Francis, Ray Nelson, Weiss, and Ed Emshwiller inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition with some cover wear and light soiling. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are clean with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This rare vintage “Galaxy Science Fiction” pulp magazine would make a great addition to your collection!
