I spent a few years coin roll hunting pennies from my local bank.  I looked for wheat cents, and the older 95% copper pennies. That's it. I didnt search for errors, or any kind of raritites, mostly because I'm not sure specifically what I'd be looking for, and if I did, it would take forever.  I did find many wheat cents, and it was fun, but about a year ago, without notice my bank started filtering out every older 95% copper penny from thier rolls. It still bothers me that I didn't get thousands of dollars of the bank penny rolls when I could have, because they were a safe and fun investment that will continue to go up in value forever.  The demand for and value of copper will only go up as we move into the future. If you buy these pennies, you should be able to find a buyer to take them from you without a problem, and if you have the patience & knowlege to search them for errors or rarities, you have a good and safe investment.
