The emphasis throughout is on the practical aspects of cooking and eating with over 150 recipes. 

The book is illustrated throughout with drawings. 

There is a neat personal dedication and date to the front end paper. 

In fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks and tears.
