Made from all new parts, this mic is made to emulate the classic sound of the AKG C12.  The ELA M251 sold by Telefunken is really a C12 built for the US market.  This mic includes a CK12 capsule from Dachman Audio, a Cinemag transformer, and a Russian EH 6072a tube.  Together, this makes a microphone very close to the original for thousands less.
